Frequently Asked Questions

Do you predict the future?

No. I don’t use astrology to predict specific outcomes or tell you what will happen. The goal is always to support your agency and self-trust, not replace it.

What can astrology actually help with?

Astrology can help you better understand how you’re wired, why certain themes repeat in your life, and how different seasons may feel as they unfold. It’s especially helpful during periods of transition, uncertainty, or reflection. I see it as a tool for self-awareness and preparation.

What happens during a reading?

Readings are conversational and reflective. We’ll start off by talking about your sun, moon, and rising and then review the relationship between the planets and how they “speak” to one another. As we explore your chart together, I’ll highlight themes and patterns that I notice so that you can reflect integrate if it reasonates. I explain things clearly and leave space for nuance, questions, and your lived experience.

Do I need to know astrology to book a session?

Not at all. You don’t need any background knowledge to book or benefit from a reading. I meet you where you are and explain concepts in an accessible, grounded way. You’ll also receive a guide with an explaination of what we’ve reviewed, which I outline the meaning of basic astrology concepts.

What information do you need from me before a reading?

For both readings, I’ll need your date of birth, time of birth (as accurate as possible), and place of birth. It helps to also state what areas of life you’d like to focus on. If you’re unsure about anything or don’t necessarly have a topic in mind, we can do a general overview of your chart.

What if I don’t know my birth time?

If you don’t know your birth time, you should find it on your birth certificate. If you don’t have a copy of your birth certificate, you may be able to obtain one by contacting the vital records office of the city or state you were born in. In any instance where obtaining your birth time is not possible, we can still explore certain parts of your chart, though some details may be limited as I won’t be able to explain your rising sign and how the houses and planets are configued in your chart. If this applies to you, feel free to reach out before booking and we can talk through what’s possible.

How are natal chart readings different from transit readings?

Natal chart readings focus on understanding yourself such as your core patterns, emotional wiring, and recurring themes over the course of your life. Transit readings look at how current or upcoming cycles interact with your natal chart, offering perspective on timing and transitions. Many people find value in both, depending on what they’re navigating. If you enjoyed your natal chart reading and found it helpful, feel free to book transit readings every so often to review your transits and how they may impact you over the course of 3 months.

Can you help with relationships, career, or major life decisions?

Yes, though with care and nuance. We can explore themes related to relationships, work, and decision-making, but I won’t tell you what choice to make or predict specific outcomes. Astrology works best as a supportive framework alongside your own discernment.

Is astrology accurate?

Astrology isn’t about being “accurate” in a literal or predictive sense. It’s symbolic and interpretive, and its value lies in how it resonates and supports reflection. When approached thoughtfully, it can be a meaningful tool for understanding patterns rather than predicting events. Astrology has been studied for thousands of years by humans observing and recording planetary movement alongisde actual events. Modern astrology relies on the recorded planetary movements centuries later to be able to anticpate certain energetic signatures.

Are there any topics you will not cover?

I will not review, answer, or try to predict death or medical questions as I find it unethical.
